On May 20, 2022, at the Field Cathedral of the Polish Army in Warsaw, a press conference was held inaugurating the project of teaching English, dedicated to refugees from Ukraine.

Within a dozen or so weeks, Poland accepted over 3 million refugees from Ukraine. Our neighbors received support practically all over Poland.

Aliona is an artist. She painted Ukraine's national flower for me as a "Thank you to America." The colors of the sunflower and sky are reflected on their nation's flag. Ukraine is the largest sunflower oil producer in the world with 4,400,324 tons of production per year. The state of Texas and the country of Ukraine are the same sizes.

After being closed to the public for 3 years, this amazing museum had its grand reopening ceremony on June 4th. The Theatre Troupe presented "The Finest of Polynesian Culture," and invited me to dance with them!

My flat at Żelazna 89 once housed the underground premises of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Poland . The street dates back to the mid-17th century. Part of one Documentary on the Warsaw Uprising was filmed in this apartment building.

Some of my students attended a protest rally crying on the world to save Ukraine by declaring Russian aggression acts of state-sponsored terrorism and holding all who carry out these atrocious crimes against humanity accountable by bringing them to justice. Please pray without ceasing for Ukraine!

The Warsaw Uprising was a major World War II operation by the Polish underground resistance to liberate Warsaw from German occupation. It occurred in the summer of 1944, and it was led by the Polish resistance Home Army. Little wonder that Poland has welcomed over 3 million Ukrainian refugees.
